• There are many benefits to surgically desexing your pet – these include:
    • Reduced risk of medical problems such as mammary cancer, pyometra and prostate cancer
    • Reducing unwanted behaviours such as escaping & aggression
    • Prevention of unwanted litters
  • Desexing your pet is something that happens only once in their lifetime, so we want to make it the best experience for them that we can. We include added benefits such as IV fluid support and take-home pain relief that may not be provided at all clinics.
  • Our veterinary team has many years of experience and are able to offer a wide range of surgical procedures. As well as desexing, we commonly perform lump removals, wound repair, orthopedic surgery, and abdominal surgery. All pets that undergo surgery have a dedicated veterinary nurse who never leaves their side and patients are monitored at all times. Your pet will receive pain relief before, during and after their surgery to maximise their comfort and speed their recovery.
  • We perform many types of orthopedic (bone) surgeries in our clinic, including surgery for cruciate ligament rupture or luxating patellas (dislocating kneecaps). For the more difficult procedures, we can either call in a specialist veterinary surgeon to operate at our clinic, or organise a referral to a specialist facility if we feel this is in your pet’s best interests.
